You were born to win but programmed to fail.
And that includes how you choose to
react or respond to a situation.
Whatever choice you make in how
you want to feel, it will create a positive
or negative feedback loop.
So how does smiling actually
help you have a better day?
Here’s just a few things smiling
does for you every day:
(1) Smiling makes you more attractive to others!
(even when you have 1 tooth)
We as humans have an automatic
attraction to people who smile.
(2) Smiling is contagious!
People will want to be around you,
because it makes them feel good.
(3) Relieves stress!
Smiling can help us look better,
less tired, and seem less worn down.
(4) Boosts your immune system!
When you smile, it stimulates your
immune response which helps
you to relax.
(5) Lowers Blood Pressure
(6) Releases Endorphins & Serotonin
Endorphins are natural pain relievers
& serotonin helps you feel good!
(7) Cortisol (stress hormone) is reduced!
(8) Laughing promotes homeostasis.
(9) A good laugh can effectively assist
in releasing emotions.
(10) Smiling people indicate confidence
(11) Your brain doesn’t know the difference
between a fake smile and a real one.
Now that you know the benefits of smiling,
remember to stay cheerful!
Not only will it make your day
better, but you could improve the day
for someone else who needs it.
