I recorded this audio for you yesterday
on my SoundCloud account, and I was inspired
to share this quick message for you today here!

While I was listening to psycho cybernetics,
I heard a story of a gentleman who
his dream was to be a plastic surgeon.
And during his time?
That basically didn't exist.
Or at least there weren't very many people
who were in that profession.
Long story short, the very first person
who came to see him was so aghast that
a mere $500 to get his nose fixed
so he could breathe and look like
an actual human being?
He walked out on day one but a little bit later
called him back and the guy who
was the plastic surgeon said,
“Look, you know it's $500.
You're a young man, and as you know
for the Bible you have at least another
fifty years on you. That's only $10 a year!
What's it worth to you?“
And it inspired me to share this with you today
because I am an entrepreneur and
entrepreneurs do sales, right?
But here's the thing.
Everyone is in sales!
It doesn't matter your background,
it doesn't matter your current job?
Everyone is in sales!
You're either selling yourself, an idea,
a subscription, a thing? Everyone is selling.
But most people have a negative idea of
sales people and buying things, right?
But here's the thing– as an entrepreneur
or as a sales person, your job is not to get sales.
Just hold on for second guys.
This is key here.
Yes. To be successful you must sell things.
But your goal is not to sell.
Your goal is to find somebody who has need
of what you have to offer and simply
show them how it can improve their life.
Show them how whatever reason they give
that they can't do something,
that they can't buy something,
they can't be a part of something…
You have to show them how they can,
show them how it's possible!
Because the brain is an incredible tool
and it will automatically bring up walls.
Even if you mentally go, “Oh wait, I know I need that!”
Your subconscious – if your inner ideals
don't match up with your goals & aspirations?
You will automatically start to do things,
say things, buy things, not buy things to your detriment.
So as an entrepreneur or as a sales person,
it is not to get someone to buy things.
It is to find a way to help someone solve their problems.

Again, I had that revelation listening to psycho-cybernetics.
It's a great audio book. It's a fantastic book itself.
I used audible for it – I actually used my
monthly subscription for it because
if you buy it at regular price, it's pretty expensive?
But totally worth it.
